Keiser
Keiser was incorporated in 1977 jointly by the brothers Dennis and Randy Keiser. Since then Keiser Corporation has been revolutionizing the exercise options available for people of diverse ages and abilities. After obtaining several patents in weight stack variable resistance design and hydraulic resistance design, Dennis Keiser successfully patented a totally novel concept for variable resistance using compressed air (pneumatics). With the public introduction of this concept in1978 the first air powered variable resistance exercise machine was born.
Keiser fitness equipment consists of a wide range of products suitable for building strength and power for the young and the not-so-young. These machines use ‘air’ as the resistance factor and do not contain any weight stacks. The Keiser Infinity Series has multi-functional strength training equipment that allows one to train safely at different resistances, speed and angles. The Keiser Infinity Performance Trainer is available at $2,350 while the Keiser Infinity Triple Trainer priced at $9,150 contains three functional trainers in one. This can accommodate up to 3 people simultaneously. Keiser Air Runner priced at $4,445 helps develop speed, acceleration and power by working against air resistance force. Keiser Half Rack costing around $5,880 again uses air resistance instead of free weights. An adjustable bench which locks into the air runner may be purchased separately for $1,200. This is provided with wheels for easy transport. With some air runner models it is also possible to train with weights in addition to air resistance.
It is an undeniable fact that stretching is one of the most important but least regarded aspects of a fitness program. In order to address this issue Keiser created a unique workstation called The Keiser Stretch Zone. Buy it without second thoughts if you are in charge of a gym or desire to have a total body stretching workout from neck to calf. With the Stretch Zone it is possible to perform about 17 different exercises from neck to calf. What is more it can easily accommodate up to eight exercisers at a time in a limited space of 40 sq.ft/3.7 m surface. One of the main advantages of this machine is that it is designed to perform the stretching exercises while standing rather than sprawling all over the floor. The Keiser Stretch Zone for sale is available at a price of US $2325.
Most dealers of Keiser Stretch Zone also sell several other products designed for strength training from Keiser.
