Stair Steppers

Stair steppers and climbers are superb machines for burning fat and working out the important muscles of your lower body. Stair stepper exercise is good for cardiovascular fitness and to tone the lower parts of your body.

How To Use A Stair Stepper

It is important that you know the right use of home stair stepper to avoid any injury. Here are steps to help you handle stair stepper exercise equipment properly.
• First do a 5-minute warm up. Use the stair stepper at a low power in the beginning. This helps to warm up the same muscles that you would be exercising.
• Increase your force once you are warmed up.
• You should know that it is vital to have proper form on your compact stair stepper. Never lean your arms carelessly on the stair stepper. Maintain a straight position of your upper body and be centered over your legs. If you do not maintain the proper form, you are at risk of injuring your body.
• The most important thing is to keep your back straight.
• Do not stay up on your toes. Keep your heels pressed down on the stair stepper’s steps. This works your hips muscles too, along with the calf muscles.
• Don’t let the step come all the way down or all the way up. The distance between your steps should be short.
• Use different program settings for carrying out various stair stepper exercise methods. For instance, do an interval workout, followed by a hill workout, and combine with high or low force sessions.
• Do not keep the resistance the same at all times. Make it easy and faster during one workout and slower and hard during the other.
